We need you to bring your cameras along to the games and take photos of your sons. They love to see themselves in action! We prefer that you email them to us in "compressed" form. Most photos will come out of your camera at around 1 Mb, but are hard to email in that size. Compression trims them down to about 75 - 80 kb and there is no appreciable loss of resolution when published on the web. Most photo programs allow for this, but we recommend Microsoft Picture Manager, which comes standard with most Windows installations, and which is fairly simple to use. Send them in as soon as possible after the game and they will be published in slide show format straight away. Email them to webmaster@maristrugby.com.au and call us if you have any queries or difficulties with sending them in. All photos will be kept and will be available to you on request at the end of the season. Here's how to do it: 1. Open the directory where you have saved the photos 2. Right click on one of the photos 3. You will see ..."Open with..." - select "Microsoft Picture Manager" 4. Follow the diagrams below 5. Use the left and right arrows at the bottom of the screen to navigate all of your photos and compress each one individually as below.
6. Click on File > Save All > Close 7. Email them to webmaster@maristrugby.com.au Happy Snapping!! |
