Phoenix Battye (Marist 2008) will be playing off the bench tomorrow night for the Western Force. Congratulations from Marist Rugby Club, Feeno - we have followed your career so far, with great pride! Your humble webmaster and Charlie (4M) were very fortunate to get a last minute invitation from one of the Western Force sponsors, Bank West to attend the Captain's Run of the Western Force this afternoon at Canberra Stadium, thanks to Leo Dallas of BankWest and Marist dad, Dave Kimmorley (Balmain Bank). Needless to say, Charlie was a happy camper, and we managed to catch up with Marist Old Boy, Phoenix. Whilst Charlie very diplomatically told the Western Force coach that his favourite player was David Pocock, he also left the Webmaster in no doubt that he is a Brumbies supporter, just in case he gets a hard time from his mates!!
