FROM THE CLUB PRESIDENT

To all in the Marist Rugby Community

Friday August 8th is almost upon us. It brings together two key events in the Club’s calendar; our raffle and our dinner.

Both these events are critical to the club to ensure that we have the funding to delivering a well-supported rugby program for the school.  The social aspect of the night is a great opportunity for any parent, coach, manager or teacher to meet, greet and chat with people from across our community. It is our night to celebrate the club’s achievements and success from the year.

The Voice of Australian Rugby for the past 30 years, Gordon Bray will be there talking with our own Tom Cusack (Australian 7’s representative at the Commonwealth Games and Bronze Medal Winner).

And of course, there is the Raffle.  This single fundraising program will be drawn on the night and delivers a generous first prize of $5,000.00 to the winner and if they are in the room on the night can claim a further $500.00.

Please, we would encourage you to be involved in both these events.  It is your club so please step up and buy raffle books. Stand up and purchase seats for the dinner through the club’s website.
We are hoping each team will get a table of ten to the function.

Raffle tickets and monies are now due to be returned and can be either be dropped off to the front office of both the Junior and Senior Schools or to us this Saturday at the School, during our rugby games, at the Merchandising Stand in front of the Canteen.

Looking forward to seeing you at the dinner and thank you for your support of Marist Rugby.”

Regards,

Scott Molloy
