15 Sky v Broulee - 28 May 2016

Report by Jock Jocumsen

Broulee are always a tough game for the Marist boys and this match was no different. Marist Sky could only field 14 players on the day with injuries and call ups to the U15 Royals. Broulee were fully manned with several reserves but agreed to field only 14 players to match the Marist numbers. After a torrid encounter the game was called eight minutes into the first half with the score at 28-0.

Broulee were bigger and faster than the Marist team and after Broulee scored their fourth try, two Marist players were left in their wake, both requiring medical attention. With Marist down to 12 players the game was awarded to Broulee.

The injured players were Leon Barrett (taken to hospital via ambulance for observation) and Harry Sewter. Our thoughts are with Leon and Harry and we wish them a speedy recovery.
